Childhood aggression is one of the most significant mental health problems that children and their families suffer. Simultaneously, disorders that include maladaptive aggression within their criteria, most notably oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), remain among the most poorly neurobiologically characterized disorders of psychiatry.
